Life Update #1

Hello from the other side! *laughs*... Ok issa life update, just so u know what's up. So my blog is two months and thirteen days old and I'm super excited, like that's one of my goals for this year 2018, and it's been checked-i mean crushed!. Don't mind me o jare. I'm still in my coner, jejely doing the small work God has put in our hands and we're gradually kicking. I have a much bigger goal for July and for now it's the only thing on my mind, I'll not spill the beans yet, if you know, you know. Also, I've been reading this book by Joyce Meyer titled MANAGING YOUR EMOTIONS .....it's really amazing, and I suggest you read it too. By the way, I wanted to pull the "by-the-bus" photoshoot and trust me I did, even if I wasn't sure I had the guts to. Like I was contemplating wether or not to do it because everything in Benin is always DIFFERENT, and it'll end up becoming a SHOW!. but I did any way and there.....you have it!...

Although mine are from the Bible, other things can inspire a life quote, like this one that keeps coming to my head recently- the grass is greener where/when you water the grass- ire by Adekunle Gold. Now, here's mine! Whatever thy hands findeth to do, do it with all thy heart! This is translated as -whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. When I fell like quiting or dissatisfied, I simply whisper this to myself and ask myself, have you done...

Its been a while I did a DIY (do it yourself) so I thought it wise to kill two birds with one stone, and I really hope you get the gist cause it's quite easy and takes approximately one hour(1hr) to make....let's begin! Drumroll.... Materials Fan bone Ankara (20 * 10inches, L * B respectively) Glue (I used top-bond ) Brush (to apply the glue with) Sketch material (optional) Compass Pencil Tape Scissors Decorative materials (optional) Procedure ✂  Step 1 - insert the pencil in the compass and measure a 4inch width(oya show those skills you learnt in secondary school). Step 2 - spread your Ankara piece and locate the middle(since I measured a 20inch length, I used 10 as my middle. Now, my Ankara was dark that's why l used a sketch cloth that was lighter, just so my lines would show). Place the pin point o...
