Lets talk style - The Ankara bell sleeve gown

Happy Easter in advance lovlies! Although it has never been a "hell-of-a-celebration" for me, most of the time, I never know the date until I'm told a few days to, so there's literally no plan for Easter. That's how it has been for as long as I can remember. Sometimes I wish I had a large family, so the place would be crowded with people(mostly my age-group) or maybe go for a short holiday with family to explore a new environment but, of course it never happens. Until 2018, to say that I knew the date weeks to, and even told people around me including my parents, which means I had a lot of time to plan my Sunday outfit, and a schedule for the day, Ha! Wonderful! But that's story for another day, promise to tell you how it went on my next post.
Let's continue...the Ankara gown with bell sleeves.
First of, i love Ankara a lot, but i'm often discouraged by some complacent tailors who would always do the opposite even worse, not keep to specified time. Back to the gist! So i slayed this made in Nigeria Ankara off-shoulder gown with big bell sleeves(or as the tailor called it - fish hand) to a wedding recently, i choose a pair of black suede block heels because I wanted a corporate, yet chick look, and it's the only other color I own that'll complement the colors ...

Because I styled a low bun with my faux locks(I know I know.. But what would you have me call it?), I choose the statement heart drop earrings because I wanted something bogus since it's the only jewelry I'll wear. I went further to add my complementary small black bag I got recently from a thrift store just to round it up plus I hate big bags. Still suck at thrift shopping, click Here to find great tips to help you improve.  That's how I slayed, got a lot of complements and I totally think you could rock or slay this look the same way especially on Easter Sunday, or do even better.
How would you rather slay this dress..
P.S. when you slay, don't forget to take pictures and send me some. Cheers!
