Wisdom from Loudspeakers

Have you been feeling like your joy isn't full because what makes up the pillars of your happiness hasn't manifested yet? I'm always quickly burdened with emotions that I hastily forget what God has done for me. A lot is happening so fast, people getting married, leaving the country, vibing with  boyfrens  as they are watered lavishly with cash (I quickly run to these because it's the only glistering achievements for a lady of my age, as I had imagined growing up). God has been faithful to me this year, but because I didn't get any from that box, I lost focus on my answered prayers fast (so much for a selfish brat!). During the week, as usual, my sadness was burning those around me. I wasn't angry, but my confusion was burning into saddened fumes.  It took a phone conversation on a loudspeaker to knock me off this insanity. Curious to know? Here; It hit me that we are not all on the same timeline, and like I had referenced my dad in a previous blog post, "G...

Anchoring on God's wisdom

Hello YOU.  How's life treating you? The culture of exchanging pleasantries before I delve into my gist is slowly leaving, maybe it's because I don't know if you guys like the idea. What do you think? Well here's my gist, something I learnt recently. I hope you're able to grasp the Rhema! It is just for you to know which of them you are experiencing at a particular time. Today's focus would be on wisdom, and I would like to ask, will you say you are wise? If yes, then whose wisdom is it? It's getting HOT in here! I've been doing a lot of talking these days, and most of the time, it's me trying to defend my choices. The truth is, I mean these things. However, m...

How you can avoid life's dip ( a believer's perspective)

We have often heard that if we want to be wise, we should read the book of proverbs. Have you read this book of the bible, or do you still find it puzzling? Growing up, I learned that experts analyze a man's entire life using a bell curve ' n '. Meaning that there would be a time where you have in abundance, and the time it all begins to diminish. In economics, we called the highest part the boom, and in crypto trading, the lowest part of the trough is called the dip. Get it? Now that you get the picture I am trying to paint, let us go a little deeper. I would ask myself confusing questions like why can't there be a continuous progression? It's either you had a lot then go broke at the later part of your life, or struggle throughout productive years of your life and enjoy the fruits for a short period. so there is always going to be a dip! I'm sorry but, Nollywood movies and the people around me didn't help my case. Recently, I got into the book of Proverbs ...
